Description

The Sasuke 120 Rekku is the first lure in the Sasuke series to use Ima's MRD moving-weight system, built as a floating 120 mm, 20 g minnow with a working depth range of roughly 60–80 cm. Every detail — casting distance, flight attitude, quick stand-up on retrieve, action, running depth and hook-holding — has been refined into what Ima calls a complete minnow that's easy for any angler to fish.

Its action leans towards a strong rolling wobble, giving it a different feel to the tighter-rolling Reppa so the two can be used together to cover more water when targeting seabass.

Information

The swimming action

The Sasuke 120 Rekku was the first Sasuke to use ima's MRD moving-weight system, a 120 mm, 20 g floating minnow refined for casting distance, flight attitude, a quick stand-up on retrieve and reliable hook-holding.

When to throw it

It works the 60–80 cm layer and suits the same seabass water as the rest of the Sasuke range, with a stronger rolling wobble than the tighter-rolling Reppa.

How to work it

Fish it on a straight retrieve; its rolling wobble gives a different feel to the Reppa, so run the two together to cover more water.

The setup it likes

Pair with an ML–M 8–9 ft spinning rod, a 3500 reel, 10–12 lb (PE 1–1.2) braid and a 18–20 lb fluorocarbon leader.
