Information

The swimming action

The Santis 33 is a 72 mm, 33 g sinking blade jig spoon that gives a rolling-slalom action on a straight retrieve, with the STREAM V blade adding flash and vibration on top of the spoon's own body roll.

When to throw it

Built for surf and river-mouth fishing on the flatfish bite, it targets flathead-style flatfish around river mouths and surf beaches, also casting well for covering open estuary mouths.

How to work it

Work it low and slow to trace along the bottom through a flatfish's feeding zone; it keeps working well even at reduced retrieve speeds.

The setup it likes

Pair with an M 9–10 ft surf or spinning rod, a 3500–4000 reel, 10–14 lb (PE 1–1.2) braid and a 16–20 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.
