Description

The HAL Hibupen Mini is a 60 mm topwater pencil from Halcyon System, HAL's core JDM saltwater range. Despite the compact body, it carries a tungsten weight at the rear for casting distances that rival the larger Hibupen 73, and its ST46 #8 treble hooks are sized to hold onto bigger fish safely.

A quick-turn retrieve keeps the lure's side-to-side movement tight, cutting down on missed strikes, and between twitches it settles into a 45-degree floating posture that's easy for fish to eat. A stainless plate at the mouth slaps the surface on each twitch to call fish from a distance. It's built with black porgy (kurodai) and yellowfin seabream (kibire) as the primary targets, and is also effective on seabass in topwater games.
