Information

The swimming action

A topwater popper built specifically for black sea bream, with a large face cup that throws a big popping sound and bubble spread to call fish from a wide area. Beyond straight popping it also works with a head-shake action and a wake-pushing retrieve.

When to throw it

Main targets are black sea bream (kurodai) and kibire (yellowfin sea bream), with juvenile trevally and other small migratory fish also taking it in topwater games.

How to work it

The compact body casts without wobble for excellent distance and holds a 30-degree floating posture for a reliable hook-up; work it with sharp pops and pauses.

The setup it likes

Suits a 7'-7'6" L-ML chinu/topwater spinning rod with a 2000-2500 reel, 6-10lb braid and a 12-16lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?
