Description

The Saber Double Short (GA-060) is a short-length double-point assist hook built for tachiuo (beltfish) jigging, developed from a technique long used privately among advanced anglers. It combines an ultra-sharp, thin-gauge point for solid penetration with a barbless design for fast hook-set and a wide-gap round bend for a secure hold.

Because tachiuo often bite during the fall, feeling like the jig has touched bottom, this hook is built to set immediately on that first weighted take. The short assist length is one of two options in the Saber Double line (Short and Long) alongside the separate Saber Force, letting anglers choose the pairing that suits the bite conditions on the day.
