Description
The Ika Metal Leader Short (model IK-049) is a squid metal-jig leader rig from Gamakatsu built for easy casting. Casting it lets you work the boundary between light and shadow and the lower-pressure water beyond it. When vertical jigging gets a poor response, cast to the light/shadow line and use a curve fall to pick up bites more easily — the branch line is set to 5cm for this. Being a short-type rig, it's also easy to handle for beginners still getting used to rig handling. All-fluorocarbon construction with a rotating bead.
