Information

The swimming action

Part of Forest's FIX range, sharing its wide-roll, fish-drawing action; this Impact specification is tuned for a slow retrieve with high appeal to trigger stocked trout. It's built to the light, small-hook standard area-lake rules require, so it works within typical stocked-fishery tackle restrictions.

When to throw it

Designed so anglers can keep the rod angle fixed and adjust swimming depth purely through retrieve speed, useful for area-lake trout at a specific depth band. It works well as a change-up bait once trout have seen the same handful of spoons and lures repeatedly through a session.

How to work it

Hold the rod angle steady and slow the retrieve down to work it deeper, or speed up slightly to bring it shallower, rather than lifting or dropping the rod tip.

The setup it likes

5'6 inch-6'0 inch UL area rod, small spinning reel, 2-3 lb nylon or fluorocarbon line. A soft tip protects the fine hooks and light lines area-lake rules require while still cushioning a trout's first run on light tackle.

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?
