Information

The swimming action

A 0.35mm ultra-thin stainless steel blade, thinner than the standard Jack Hammer's, gives the Baby Jack a finer, sharper vibration, while a low-centre-of-gravity, flattened head keeps the action stable and recovers quickly after a dart.

When to throw it

The lightest in the Baby Jack range and the first quarter-ounce Jack Hammer Evergreen has offered, it is built for shallow water and bank fishing under pressure.

How to work it

Wind it on a straight retrieve; the smaller profile lets it run deeper at the same speed as the standard Jack Hammer, or be worked back faster through the same depth, and the double wire keeper and hand-tied skirt hold a trailer securely.

The setup it likes

A medium casting rod around 6.7-7ft with a 6.3:1-7:1 baitcasting reel and 10-14lb fluorocarbon suits this light 1/4oz Baby Jack for bank fishing, with enough backbone to set the hook through a soft-plastic trailer and heavy skirt.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
