Evergreen Grass Ripper 1/2oz

The Evergreen Grass Ripper 1/2oz is a skirted rubber jig designed by pro angler Kenta Onishi, built around a distinctive head shape: a narrow, triangular front for slipping into and out of grass and other cover, with a V-keel underside and a compact, low-centre-of-gravity rear. It carries a heavy 4/0 wire hook (shared across the whole Grass Ripper range), a wire keeper that holds the trailer securely without splitting it, and a silicone rubber skirt behind a firm-set brush guard that can be trimmed back for swimming or cold-water presentations.

It is built to work two ways: hopped as a reaction jig that pops up and falls straight back down through weed with minimal forward drift, or swum with a shad-tail trailer, where the head's flat side panels generate a wobbling, water-pushing action. Aimed at bass fishing around grass, bushes, reeds and other heavy cover.
