Evergreen Cham Jig 7g

Cham Jig (チャムジグ) is Evergreen's compact light-game metal jig, sized here at 7.0g / 34mm with a #14 hook and #0 ring.

Its official target list is aji, mebaru, seabass, madai, saba, mekki, kamasu, kasago and other small pelagic fish, fished with a basic jerk & fall retrieve on a 6-8ft light game rod, PE 0.2-0.6 and 4-10lb fluorocarbon off breakwaters, rocky shorelines and surf.

The body uses a simple, rounded centre-of-gravity shape that keeps the "small-grain" profile and understated action light-game species favour: a compact dart on the jerk imitates a fleeing baitfish, while a quiet, low-flutter fall gives cautious fish an easy window to bite. It also suits a plain retrieve after sinking to depth, or a shaking retrieve. A mid-shaft treble hook is fitted standard at the tail eye for its hook-up/catch-rate balance.
