KOMS-68M is a 1-piece spinning rod: 6'8", medium power with a regular-fast taper, rated for 3.5-10g lures and 5-10lb line, built on a 100% carbon blank. It's designed for long casts with heavy non-sinker worms and power-finesse fishing, reaching distant cover from a boat or working far banks from shore.

KOMC-65MLS is a baitcasting rod: 6'5", medium-light power with a regular-fast taper, rated for 3.5-10g lures and 6-10lb line, with a 100% carbon blank, solid tip and Fuji FBCS reel seat. It's built as a dedicated worming rod for free rig, neko rig and drop-shot presentations around light cover.

Both models released March 2024.

The blank

A 100% carbon blank on both models, with the baitcasting version adding a solid tip built specifically for worming rigs, giving a soft, forgiving load on the take without sacrificing the backbone to drive a hookset home at range.

What it's built for

Built for long casts with heavier non-sinker worms and power-finesse fishing, reaching distant cover from a boat or working far banks from shore, and for free rig, neko rig and drop-shot work around light cover on the casting model.

How it fishes

Worked with a slow, twitched retrieve on non-sinker worms or free rigs, letting the bait glide and fall naturally through the strike zone before a firm, purposeful hookset. Pause briefly on the fall, since most bites come as the bait settles.

The setup it likes

Pair the spinning model with a 2500-3000 reel and 8-10 lb fluorocarbon, or the casting model with a baitcasting reel and 8-10 lb fluorocarbon. Adjust line strength to the density of cover being fished.
