Description

The Ecogear Rock Claw 2″ is a claw-type soft lure with a bulky bodyline packed into a compact 65mm body, finished with prominent claws and legs for a lively, lifelike silhouette. Its own weight gives it good cast-ability without any extra weighting.

Rig it on a Texas or Carolina rig and its claws and legs kick and flutter as it's worked around structure, making it a natural search bait when probing rock and reef ground. Supplied 8 pieces per pack.

Information

The swimming action

A bulky bodyline finished with prominent claws and legs gives a lively, lifelike silhouette, with enough built-in weight to cast well without extra weighting on lighter rigs. That kind of natural, unhurried presentation matters most in clear, calm water where fish get a long, close look at a bait before deciding whether to eat it.

When to throw it

A natural search bait for rock and reef ground, useful wherever bottom-feeding predators hold tight to structure and respond to a crustacean-style profile. It is worth carrying a small spread of jighead weights and colours to cover the different current strengths and light levels you meet across a session.

How to work it

Rig on a Texas or Carolina rig and work it around structure with slow lifts and drops, letting the claws and legs kick and flutter as the bait settles. Keep the rod tip low and watch the line closely, since bites from light-game species often show up as nothing more than a faint tap or a slight change in tension.

The setup it likes

A light to medium rockfish spinning rod, a 2000-2500 reel, 4-8 lb main line and a 4-8 lb fluorocarbon leader suit fishing this bait tight to rock and reef. A soft, forgiving rod tip helps cushion light hooks and fine leaders so fish stay pinned all the way back to the net or rock ledge.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
