Description

The Ecogear Jukusei Aqua Rock Claw 2.5 is a 62 mm (2.5”) soft plastic lure from Ecogear's Jukusei Aqua range, supplied seven to a pack in a natural preservation liquid. Its HYBRID bait x lure material blends the scent and feel of natural bait with the durability of a soft plastic lure.

The slim body profile gives the Rock Claw 2.5 an enticing slide fall and strong hooking ability, and it targets fish that feed on crustaceans. It rigs well on Texas, Carolina or jighead setups in both saltwater and freshwater.

Information

The swimming action

The slim, HYBRID bait-and-lure body is built to slide sideways as it sinks, with the claw-style tail adding a light kick on the drop. The action is subtle rather than showy, relying on scent and texture from the hybrid material to hold a fish's attention once it has found the bait.

When to throw it

A crustacean-imitation shape aimed at fish feeding on crabs and shrimp around rock, reef and mixed structure, in both saltwater and freshwater. Effective year-round on marks where bottom-feeding predators are present, and particularly useful when fish are keyed on bite-size crustacean prey rather than baitfish.

How to work it

Fishes well on Texas, Carolina or jighead rigs. Work it slowly along the bottom with pauses so the claws settle and flutter, or fish it on a slide-fall pattern past visible structure, watching the line for a take rather than feeling for one.

The setup it likes

A light to medium-light spinning rod, a 2000-2500 reel, 4-8 lb main line and a matching fluorocarbon leader suit the finesse presentations this bait is built around. A soft, forgiving rod tip helps cushion light hooks and fine leaders so fish stay pinned all the way back to the net or rock ledge.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.
