Information

The swimming action

The ribbed body and curl tail are weighted to fall on a consistent slide rather than dropping straight down, so the bait glides off to the side as it sinks. That slide fall keeps the profile in view of a following fish for longer than a plain drop, giving fish an automatic bite window on slack line.

When to throw it

Suited to rock, reef and mixed-bottom marks where fish sit tight to structure and expect a bait to fall past them rather than swim overhead. Works through the day but comes into its own during the low-light change of light when fish move up to intercept falling prey.

How to work it

Rig on a jighead sized to the depth and current, cast past the structure and let it fall on a semi-slack line, watching for the take on the drop. Follow with short lifts and pauses rather than a steady retrieve, letting the slide-fall action repeat on each fall.

The setup it likes

A light rockfish spinning rod around L to ML power, a 2000-2500 reel, 3-6 lb (PE 0.3-0.6) main line and a 4-6 lb fluorocarbon leader give enough feel for the take without pulling the bait off its natural fall. A soft, forgiving rod tip helps cushion light hooks and fine leaders so fish stay pinned all the way back to the net or rock ledge.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
