The DS MiniCicada HF-G2 is the compact companion to the DS Cicada HF-G2, a 2026 limited-production reissue of Daysprout's tuned take on the Tackle House Mini Cicada, measuring 30mm and 1.3g. Like the full-size version, this updated G2 build turns the hook eye sideways to run a single hook and single split ring for steadier hook positioning, plus an internal glass rattle for extra fish-drawing sound.
It's a topwater bait fished across the surface for the visual take and ripple that this style of area trout fishing is chased for, and returns for 2026 in the same six refreshed colourways as its full-size sibling.
