Description

The FREAMS (Freams) is Daiwa's global-standard spinning reel, built around AIRDRIVE DESIGN — a lightweight rotor and bail for more responsive lure operation.

The body uses ZAION V carbon-hybrid resin construction, the pinion is protected by MAGSEALED sealing, and drag is handled by the ATD TYPE-L system. It's recommended for area trout, ajing, sea bass, light shore jigging, egi, and general lure fishing in both fresh and saltwater.

Information

The drivetrain

AIRDRIVE DESIGN gives a lightweight, responsive rotor and bail, and the ZAION V carbon-hybrid body keeps the reel light without feeling flimsy under normal lure-fishing loads.

What it's built for

A genuine all-rounder recommended for area trout, ajing, sea bass, light shore jigging, egi and general lure fishing in both fresh and saltwater.

How it fishes

MAGSEALED sealing on the pinion and ATD TYPE-L drag keep the reel working smoothly after repeated exposure to salt spray, suiting anglers who fish one reel across several styles.

Spools and spares

Match the smaller 2500 size to a light spinning rod on 4-8lb nylon or 0.6-1 PE; match the larger 5000D-6000D sizes to a shore-jigging rod on 1.5-2.5 PE with a 20-30lb leader.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
