Information

The swimming action

NINJARI Worm is Blue Blue's wind-casting worm, built around a twin single-hook system: two single hooks project from the body so that if one point misses, the opposite hook locks the jig head in place and secures the hook-up. The action comes from the paired jig head and worm working together rather than the worm alone.

When to throw it

The S size is the one shore-based seabass anglers reach for most often, with a side-darting jerk action and hang time before the bite tuned for effective seabass fishing across a wide range of shore marks, from harbours to river mouths and open beaches.

How to work it

Work the S size with a jerk-and-pause retrieve to bring out its side-darting action, allowing hang time between jerks for fish to strike. This technique is what the S size is tuned for, rather than a straight, steady wind back to the rod tip.

The setup it likes

Pair with a light seabass spinning rod, a 2500 size reel, PE0.6-1 braid and a 10-14 lb fluorocarbon leader, matched to a jig head suited to the S size.
