Bait Breath Fish Tail Ringer 3.5

Fish Tail Ringer adds a ringed body to the Fish Tail shape, each ring producing a fine micro-vibration a standard flat worm can't replicate, layering a supple roll and shimmy onto the usual reaction bite. That steady, repeatable behaviour is part of why the design has stayed in regular rotation among anglers who fish the same water often enough to notice what actually draws strikes.

Built for everything from shore-based to boat rock fishing, it suits structure and rock ground where a subtler vibration is needed to draw a bite from pressured fish. It is a sensible lure to keep rigged and ready rather than a narrow specialist, since the conditions it suits come up often enough across a normal session.

Fish it on a Texas rig, jig head or Carolina rig with a slow roll or lift-and-fall, letting the ringed body's micro-vibration work at low speed. It pays to change up the retrieve a few times early in a session rather than committing to one cadence, since the right speed can vary from day to day.

A 6.5-7ft light-to-medium rock fishing spinning rod, a 2000-2500 reel, 8-12lb line or PE0.6-1 with a fluorocarbon leader suit this ringed worm. This setup keeps enough sensitivity to register a light take while still carrying enough reserve power to keep a fish clear of nearby structure.
