The HYDRO UPPER55S is a 55mm, 5.5g sinking pencil from Apia built to work the surface down through the shallow range. Tungsten weighting packed into the small body gives it long casting distance for its size and a stable, bite-inducing rolling fall; as a "rising type" lure (the defining trait of the HYDRO UPPER series), it covers shallow water and the surface-to-shallow range broadly. Its variable tight-roll action swims closer to a minnow than a typical sinking pencil, so it doubles as an initial search bait.
