Abu Garcia REVO MGX GANMA (レボMGXガンマ) is a lightweight spinning reel with a magnesium body and C6 carbon rotor, usable in both freshwater and saltwater. The one-piece MagAlloy magnesium gearbox integrates the side plate into the body for a lighter frame, and the compact asymmetrical left/right body trims unneeded material.

V-Rotor and V-Spool designs (C6 carbon) cut weight and rotational inertia, and a Friction-Free main shaft support reduces retrieve drag. HPCR corrosion-resistant bearings, AM Gearing with COG gear design, a carbon matrix drag, and a 2-way drag system (reordering the washer stack gives "LIGHT" or "TOUGH" settings, LIGHT cutting max drag to roughly 50% of TOUGH) are fitted, along with a DuraCarbon carbon handle and a sinker keeper.
