Abu Garcia OCEANFIELD Super Light Jigging (オーシャンフィールドスーパーライトジギング) is an offshore jigging rod targeting isaki, tai (sea bream), tachiuo (largehead hairtail), rockfish, seabass, inada and other blue-water gamefish. It is fitted with Fuji New Concept guides and reinforced with Abu's X-carbon tape (45°/135° criss-cross wrapping) for added torque and twist resistance.

The OFSS-672SLJ (6'7"/201cm, spinning) and OFSC-632SLJ (6'3"/191cm, baitcasting) both run a PE 0.5-1.2 line rating and a 20-100g lure range.

The blank

A torque-rich blank reinforced with X-carbon tape resists twisting under repeated jigging strokes while a fast-loading tip telegraphs jig contact and short hops clearly through the rod, so subtle bites register even when working a jig at depth in moving current.

Built for offshore super-light jigging for isaki, tai, tachiuo, rockfish, seabass and inada over reef and current lines, in depths where 20-100g jigs are needed to hold bottom against tide without stepping up to a heavier standard jigging outfit. Worked with short, sharp jig strokes on the drop and a steady wind on the retrieve; the blank has enough lift in the butt section to pump fish up from depth without excessive rod length getting in the way aboard a boat.
