BEAST LP (ビースト LP) is Abu Garcia Japan's heavy-duty low-profile baitcasting line, built around a DuraMetal aluminum frame and sideplates with the Infini brake system (combined magnetic and centrifugal braking) and a Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag. This listing spans the 300 and 400 size classes.

BEAST 300 LP: 315g, 7 ball bearings + 1 roller bearing, 37.5mm spool, gear ratio 5.8:1 standard (max drag 14kg) or 7.5:1 high-gear (max drag 11kg). Built for large baitfish, pike, catfish and saltwater jigging.

BEAST 400 LP: 482g standard / 488g high-gear, 7 ball bearings + 1 roller bearing, 45mm spool, gear ratio 4.8:1 standard (max drag 14kg) or 6.2:1 high-gear (max drag 11kg). Built for saltwater, exotic fish, giant baits and big-game fishing.
