BEAST 400 LP (ビースト400) is Abu Garcia Japan's saltwater/big-game low-profile baitcasting reel, built around a DuraMetal aluminum frame and sideplates with the Infini brake system (combined magnetic and centrifugal braking) and a Power Stack drag with clicker.

482g, 7 ball bearings + 1 roller bearing, HPCR stainless bearings, 45mm spool, GenIII brass Duragear system, 105mm aluminum handle with 40mm round knob. Gear ratio 4.8:1 (max drag 14kg, 68cm retrieve per turn). Line capacity 30lb–150m / PE5–200m.

The standard gearing suits winching big baits and fighting fish under heavy drag pressure, while the high-gear option picks up slack line fast on a running fish or a jig worked quickly back to the boat, so choosing between the two comes down to whether power or speed matters more for the technique in hand.
