Description

HITCH HOOK (ヒッチフック) is an assist hook developed by Takuma Hata to solve the short-bite and tail-nip misses that come with today's larger soft swimbaits, shad-tail worms, and swim jig trailers. It rigs onto the trailer via a soft tube that resists slipping off, runs through a specially ordered domestic long swivel, and uses a Ryugi TC-coated hook held by a double keeper that locks firmly into the bait.

Sized by the length between split rings: SS (hook #2, 16mm — worm holder set on the line-eye side), S (hook #2, 26mm), M (hook #1, 31mm), and L (hook #1, 44mm). The maker also offers an LL size (hook #1/0, 64mm), not carried on this listing.
