The blank

The B-Breamer SSD loads through a soft carbon-solid tip that telegraphs the lightest pick-up on a free rig or jig head, while the tubular mid and butt section hold enough backbone to control fish over structure. Fuji SiC guides run the length of the blank for smooth, low-friction feel through the retrieve.

What it's built for

Built for chinning-style bottom fishing over reef, rubble and mixed structure where black sea bream, flathead and small rockfish sit tight to the bottom. Suits harbour walls, jetties and rocky drop-offs at any state of tide, and packs down small as a telescopic model for travel.

How it fishes

Fish it slow along the bottom, lifting and dropping the rig to keep contact without dragging it out of the strike zone. The solid tip shows subtle taps and line movement well before they reach the angler's hand, so watch the rod tip as much as feel for the bite.

The setup it likes

Pair the ML model with a 2500-size spinning reel and PE 0.6–0.8 with a 1.5–2 lb fluorocarbon leader, or the SL with a small baitcaster on the same line class; step up leader strength around structure-heavy marks.
