Description

The Tackle House Feed Shallow CFS128+ (Plus) is a weight-tuned version of the CFS128, adding 2.5g over the standard model for extra stability in strong wind, high waves and fast currents, as well as greater casting distance. It's a 128mm slow-floating minnow that can trace a delicate depth just under the surface, and it also suits twitch and jerking retrieves.

With rocky-shore hirasuzuki (large seabass) in mind, the CFS128+ carries a hook sized one notch up from the standard CFS128. A dummy eye on the tail is the visual marker that tells it apart from the standard model.

Suits twitch and jerking retrieves as well as a straight swim; a heavier hook one size up from the standard CFS128 backs up bigger fish.

The setup it likes

Suits a medium to medium-heavy seabass spinning rod around 8'6"-9'6", a 3500-4000 reel, 12-16 lb braid (PE1.0-1.2) and a 18-20 lb fluorocarbon leader.
