Description
The Smith Zurubee Small is a compact hard-bodied lure built for the "zuru-biki" dragging retrieve used in Japanese area trout fishing. At 20mm and 2.3g it casts well for its size, sinks quickly, and keeps a low, stable posture as it is dragged along the bottom without popping back up.
It ships fitted with an Owner Cultiva SBL-14 #9 hook and a black #00 split ring, and is best worked with a slow, steady drag across the pond or lake bed to draw strikes from fish keying in on bottom movement.
