Description
The Smith Zurubee Big is the larger sibling in Smith's Zurubee range, a hard-bodied lure purpose-built for the "zuru-biki" dragging retrieve used in Japanese area trout fishing. At 23mm and 3.2g it casts a long way for its size, sinks quickly, and keeps a low, stable posture as it is dragged along the bottom without popping back up.
It ships fitted with an Owner Cultiva SBL-14 #8 hook and a black #00 split ring, and is best worked with a slow, steady drag across the pond or lake bed to draw strikes from fish keying in on bottom movement.
