Part of the 'Lim Pack70' multi-piece travel series, every model breaks down to roughly 70cm to fit a large suitcase without giving up the feel of a standard one-piece blank, thanks to Fuji SiC guides and a carefully matched ferrule setup.

What it's built for

The S55ML/J3 is a compact jigging rod for fish up to the 7kg-plus class while travelling light; the S70ML/C4 is a casting rod for Japanese seabass, inada (young yellowtail), chinu and fuefukidai from shore or boat.

How it fishes

The jigging model handles jigs up to 160g on PE3 for vertical work; the casting model handles lures up to 35g on PE2 for plugging and metal casting.

The setup it likes

Pair the jigging model with a mid-size jigging reel on PE3 and a 20-30lb leader; pair the casting model with a 3000-4000 spinning reel on PE2 and a 15-20lb fluorocarbon leader.
