Description

The Nogare 120F (ノガレ120F) is a slim floating pencil built to put out what the maker calls the weakest surface wave action in its class. It's aimed at sea bass that are aware of the surface but showing poor response to floating minnows or sinking pencils, and works year-round on small, slender baitfish patterns such as bachi (spawning marine worms), micro baitfish, glass eels, sayori (halfbeak), mysid shrimp and haku (small silver baitfish) — the maker calls it a trump card for dead-calm, glassy-flat conditions.

A fixed weight system gives a quick rise on the cast and keeps the lure tracking level on the surface, producing a faint ripple and subtle side-to-side wobble said to draw maximum interest from pressured, wary sea bass without spooking them.
