Description
The Rapala CountDown Lipless CDL7 is a balsa-bodied sinking minnow measuring 7cm (70mm) and weighing 8g. Unlike Rapala's standard lipped CountDown, the CDL7 does away with the diving lip entirely, giving the bait a wobbling, shimmying action as it falls through the water column.
Retrieve it on a straight, steady wind or work it with light twitches — either approach draws strikes without spooking wary fish. Its sinking balsa construction also makes it a natural rotation partner with the standard CountDown for covering different depths on the same session.
