The Owner Gekito Jig Strike is a 105g shore-casting metal jig built around Owner's internal stainless-steel "Tuff Bone" reinforcement rather than a wire core, so the body resists bending on rocky ground. The paint finish is designed to be impact-resistant, and the rounded body edges are shaped to eliminate slicing on the drop — Owner rates the resulting sink speed as the fastest in the Gekito range.

Refined over fifteen years of the Gekito Strike line, the profile is tuned for long casting distance and a smooth slide-into-suspend-into-horizontal-fall action designed to draw strikes from big pelagic species without spooking them. A centre keel splits water pressure for a tight rolling fall, the slightly front-weighted, thick-set body gives a long slide on the retrieve with a natural transition into one-pitch jerking, and rectifying slits at the rear stabilise the jig in flight and through the jerk stroke.
