HULACHAT S (フラチャットS) is a chatter-style bladed jig built for snag-free fishing through cover. The "S" stands for Sound: ultra-thin, high-pitched blades paired with a stainless steel blade hitter produce a distinctive impact tone as the lure works.

A crankbait-style head keeps the bait swimming on a horizontal posture without floating up, giving swimming-jig-level range control and cover performance. The hook is sized to accommodate larger trailers for improved hook-up rates, and the skirt volume is balanced with the blade to allow slow-rolling, lift-and-fall, and bottom-touch curve-fall retrieves.

The swimming action

The thin, high-pitched blade strikes a stainless steel blade hitter as it turns, giving the Hulachat S a sharper, more percussive knock than a standard chatterbait. A crankbait-style head keeps the body swimming on a horizontal posture through cover instead of floating up, holding a consistent line even at slow speed.

When to throw it

Works through matted cover, laydowns and grass edges where a bladed jig's vibration draws fish that would otherwise ignore a straight retrieve. It is at its best in stained water and around cover in the warmer months when bass are keying on moving, noisy baits.

How to work it

Slow-roll it just above the cover, or work a lift-and-fall through submerged wood. Along the bottom it can be dragged into a curve-fall so the blade keeps ticking as it settles, and the hook is sized to run a bulky trailer without losing action.
