Description
Saugeen 40 is a 40mm, 3.1g sinking minnow from Nishine's Tail Drive System range, sinking at around 50cm per second. Rather than a conventional front lip, it uses Nishine's Tail Drive System to generate a lifelike minnow swimming action, and comes fitted with an RC Kamakiri Light #12 hook.
The Tail Drive System is what allows the Saugeen 40 to keep such a tiny, skinny body while still swimming convincingly - something a front-lip design can't achieve at this size. Nishine built it as a genuinely new style of micro lure, worth tying on wherever you find fish keying in on tiny baitfish.
