ダッピー激臭匂い玉 13φ is a floating scent ball from Nikko Kasei's Dappy super scent ball line, formulated with a super-concentrated squid-roe scent blend chosen for its track record in mid-to-deep-water fishing.

The swimming action

As a soft, buoyant scent ball, it has no swimming action of its own; the floating Dappy material lifts the hook clear of the bottom and drifts gently in the current, with scent doing the attracting rather than movement.

When to throw it

Suited to mid-to-deep-water bottom fishing where a stronger squid-roe scent trail is wanted, either as the sole bait on a light rig or added to strengthen the scent of another lure or bait.

How to work it

Thread it onto the hook alone, alongside bait, or tied into a small cluster, and fish it dead-sticked or with a slow drag; there is no retrieve action to work, just scent and buoyancy.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a light bottom or tenya rod, a 2000–3000 size spinning reel, and a 6–10 lb fluorocarbon leader over light braid or nylon main line.
