Description

The KEITECH Easy Shiner is a swimbait built around an asymmetrical, low-centre-of-gravity body with salt concentrated in the belly for stable swimming and a natural rolling action. The thin, sharp tail is designed to "receive" water for reliable kicking action, and a built-in keel prevents the tail from folding over at any retrieve speed.

Works on a no-sinker rig for slow, shallow retrieves, on a jig head for depth control, on a Texas rig for working cover weedless, or on a Carolina rig for a natural horizontal fall on the pause. Designed for black bass.

This listing stocks the 3in size (approx. 2.2g, 10 per pack, recommended hook size #2-#1).

Information

The swimming action

The low centre of gravity keeps the body riding true while the thin, keeled tail folds under water pressure at any retrieve speed for a steady rolling kick rather than an erratic wobble.

When to throw it

A go-to for black bass around grass, laydowns and rock where a natural swimming profile draws reaction bites, from clear reservoirs to stained ponds, through most of the open-water season.

How to work it

Run it weightless for a slow, shallow swim, on a jig head to hold depth, Texas-rigged through cover, or Carolina-rigged for a horizontal glide on the pause. A steady, moderate retrieve shows off the tail kick best.

The setup it likes

A medium-power spinning or baitcasting rod, 10-12 lb fluorocarbon and a reel in the 2500-3000 (or low-profile baitcast) class handle the weightless and jig-head presentations well.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?
