Description

The Driftfry Mellow 5.2" uses the softest material in Jackall's Driftfry range, moulded with a laminate construction that blends naturally into the water. Body and tail torque against each other to create a natural twist-tail vibration, and the tail fin can be trimmed to tone that down into a tighter, more tingling action if you want a different tune.

It's a sinking bait built with power midst fishing in mind, staying natural-looking even when worked deep and slow. With the lip trimmed off it also handles hover-strolling and no-sinker surface twitching. Supplied here in seven colourways.

Information

The swimming action

The softest material in the Driftfry range lets the body and tail torque against each other for a natural twist-tail vibration that stays lifelike even worked deep and slow through open water.

When to throw it

A sinking bait built for power-fishing deep, slow presentations, suited to deeper water and cooler conditions where a natural, unhurried profile is needed to draw bites from wary or inactive bass.

How to work it

Work it slow and deep on a straight retrieve or slow roll; trim the tail fin for a tighter, more tingling action, or trim the lip off to fish it as a hover-strolling or no-sinker surface bait.

The setup it likes

A medium spinning or baitcasting rod, 8-12lb fluorocarbon and a matching reel suit this bait's slow, deep presentation and the trimmed hover-strolling set-up it also supports in cooler, deeper water year-round.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
