Description

CiAN (シアン) is Jackall's rock-shore fishing rod line, built to control big blue-fish (青物) at the rocks: the tip-to-belly sections are tuned differently across each spec for jig or plug work, backed by a belly-to-butt section built for the fight from hookset through the final moments at the rocks. Blanks combine Toray's Nanoalloy-treated resin with T1100G carbon and a mix of moduli for sensitivity, operability and high breaking strength.

Guides are Fuji stainless-frame SiC — low-friction MN (Ocean) guides through the belly/butt, K-guides near the tip to resist tangles — paired with a Fuji DPS reel seat and double lock nut, and a Fuji soft butt cap (BRC) for rock-shore use.

The line-up spans six models — CiAN-99XH, CiAN-100XH, CiAN-106XH, CiAN-100XXH, CiAN-106XXH and CiAN-96XXXH — covering roughly 10kg-class blue-fish up to 30kg+ monster targets, in jig, plug, and jig/plug-versatile configurations.
