Description

POWER MASTER (パワーマスター) is TENRYU's SHORE-lineup power series for shore jigging and plugging, built to conquer power games with a focus on casting distance, handling and resilience — for aggressive anglers taking on hard-to-land pelagic (青物) targets along shorelines nationwide.

Blanks use a minimal-coating unsanded finish to draw out the blank's natural power while keeping weight down, with C.N.T. (Carbon Nanotube) composited into the butt section for resilience that builds the deeper the rod bends. Guides are stainless-frame K-guides (SiC) and Ocean guides (SiC). The reel seat uses Nishijin-weave carbon pipe, and select models use a BRC grip end.

This listing stocks the full 11-model POWER MASTER spinning lineup, from light shore-jigging/plugging models up to heavy models built for 10kg-class fish on rocky shores and remote islands: PM972S-M, PM972S-MH, PM1022S-M, PM1022S-MH, PM1102S-MH, PM1072S-MH, PM1263S-MH, PM1002S-HP, PM1002S-HH, PM1002S-X and PM9102S-XX.

Target species: pelagic species (青物) and other large shore gamefish.

FAQ

What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?

JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.

How do I read Japanese rod lengths?

Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.

One-piece or multi-piece for travel?

Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.

What warranty or service do imported rods have?

There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.

Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?

It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
