Jackall Big Backer E-Blade W 30g

The Jackall Big Backer E-Blade W is a rear-bladed shore jigging metal jig from Jackall's BIGBACKER E-BLADE series, built to combine wide body action with willow-blade flash on a straight retrieve. An asymmetric top/bottom body shape keeps the jig oriented and its action stable across a wide range of retrieve speeds, and a wire-cored assist line resists cutting from sharp-toothed species such as sagoshi, sawara and tachiuo.

It rises well off the bottom, so it can be fished shallow and slow: Jackall recommends a medium retrieve of roughly 1–1.5 turns per second with occasional pauses to touch down in the surf, or a slower, roughly 1-turn-per-second retrieve with pauses on breakwaters and reefs. It's a SINKING jig aimed primarily at pelagic (blue-fish) species, with flatfish and rockfish also noted as effective targets.
