MICRO 鱒 MAX (マイクロマスマックス) is Imakatsu's 40mm, 2.0g floating shad built for bottom-focused area-trout fishing.

A hanger at the tip of the lip accepts an approximately 0.9g sinker, letting the hook ride elevated during bottom stays or soft jerks. IK's Counter Balance System (C.B.S.) paired with a single hook gives a sharp darting action for its class, and the streamlined body casts well despite carrying no weight-transfer system.

A straight retrieve produces a wobble; adding the sinker converts this into a roll action. The maker suggests working from a slow bottom retrieve, to light bottom taps, and on to stronger twitches to trigger strikes.
