Imakatsu JAVALLON HARD 150 MAMBA F

JAVALLON HARD 150 MAMBA (ジャバロンハード150マンバ) is a hardbait reborn from Imakatsu's original Javallon swimbait, pairing the soft lure's smooth, lifelike feel with a hardbait's powerful water push and the high hook-up rate of a treble-hook setup. This F (Floating) model is rated 2.1oz class and comes with two interchangeable elastomer tails — a 215mm Javallon Tail and a 245mm Snake Tail.

Rather than pivoting on the lip alone, the whole body drives the swimming action, stabilised by a HYDRO-FOIL SPOILER mounted under the chin — modelled on an F1 car's chin spoiler — which generates downforce to keep the lure swimming level without restricting its side-to-side motion. The joint was tightened from the previous loose-joint design for stability on ultra-fast retrieves.

Built for a big splashdown followed by dead-sticking on the surface — the elastomer tail keeps working on its own in the slightest current to draw strikes — and the HFS lip lets it be worked at very high speed just under the surface without breaking it. A fast shiver-action retrieve run past rock cover and paused over likely holding spots, and working the lure through strong current in backwaters and inlets, are also effective techniques.
