Information

The swimming action

Carries the proven MIU shape and swimming action into native-field colours, with classic yamame and ayu baitfish patterns replacing the standard palette built for stocked area lakes rather than wild water.

When to throw it

Built for wild river and lake trout rather than stocked ponds; the lightest weight suits light native tackle, and the heavier, thicker-plate sizes add casting distance and depth control for bigger, stronger-flowing water.

How to work it

In current, hold the retrieve steady so the spoon does not get swept out of the intended line; in lakes, work the heavier sizes along the bottom with lift-and-fall or shake presentations.

The setup it likes

Suits a light native-trout rod (L-ML power, fast taper), a 2000 size spinning reel and 3-6 lb fluorocarbon main line, again fished without a separate leader since native spoons of this weight are cast and retrieved direct.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
