Description

The Forest Marshal Kei 4.8g is a Japanese native-lure spoon weighing 4.8g and fitted with an OWNER Cultiva S-31 #6 hook. Despite its slim silhouette it carries good weight, giving it strong casting distance and precise control over depth, and its shape resists lifting in current so it stays effective fished on a downstream retrieve in streams.

It also grips water well in still water such as lakes, swimming steadily to draw bites from native trout. It's produced in a 15-colour range, and this listing carries #1 Red-Gold Yamame and #13 Albino Yamame.

Information

The swimming action

A slim-bodied spoon that carries good weight for its size, giving strong casting distance and precise depth control, with a shape that resists lifting in current so it keeps swimming true.

When to throw it

Built for native trout in streams and lakes; its current-resistant shape stays effective fished on a downstream retrieve in rivers, and it grips still water just as steadily when fished on lakes.

How to work it

A downstream, steady retrieve in rivers keeps it tracking true without skating up toward the surface; in still lakes, an even, moderate-paced retrieve alone is enough to draw bites from native fish.

The setup it likes

Suits a light native-trout rod (L-ML power, fast taper), a 2000 size spinning reel and 3-6 lb fluorocarbon main line, again fished without a separate leader since native spoons of this weight are cast and retrieved direct.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?
