Information

The swimming action

The FIX Match holds a wide, steady roll through the retrieve, tracking a fixed depth for a given rod angle so the only variable the angler changes is retrieve speed rather than rod height, keeping the wobble consistent from cast to cast.

When to throw it

Built for stocked area-lake trout, particularly sight-fishing pressured fish holding at a known depth or blind-casting a chosen band of the water column when the bite is tight to a specific range.

How to work it

Keep the rod angle fixed and slow the retrieve down to hold depth, or speed it up to climb toward the surface; a steady, unhurried pace keeps the wide roll working throughout.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a light area-trout rod (UL-L power, fast taper), a 1000-2500 size spinning reel and 2-3 lb fluorocarbon or nylon main line, fished without a separate leader as is standard for area-lake spoons of this size.

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
