Description

The fimo Landing Shaft 500 (ランディングシャフト500) is a lightweight landing-net shaft built for pier, sea-fishing-park and urban river anglers who need reach from high banks or over barriers. Its compact, easy-to-carry design makes it a practical first landing shaft for beginners as well as experienced anglers.

The shaft uses a high-elasticity carbon fibre construction (99% carbon fibre, 1% glass fibre) for rigidity and durability, while keeping the overall weight to roughly 482g across its 5m extended length. The tip section is painted white for visibility during night fishing or in low light, and the rubber grip is designed to stay secure even when hands are wet. A uniquely shaped rubber net-connector lets the net head be released with one thumb for quick landing.
