Description

Iron Marvie 40 (Iron Marvie 40) is a micro metal vibration lure supervised by Masaya Onuma, built for day-game seabass fishing in tough, high-pressure fields where fish are keyed onto micro baitfish. At just 40mm, its ultra-compact form combines the strong casting distance and wave-action appeal of a metal vibration bait with a near-horizontal, natural swimming posture refined through repeated prototyping.

Recommended fields are brackish lakes, rivers, estuaries and canals. The basic technique is a simple straight retrieve, and the low tendency for the line to tangle on the hooks also makes it suited to lift-and-fall presentations.

Information

The swimming action

At just 40mm, the Iron Marvie 40 combines the casting distance and wave-action appeal of a metal vibration bait with a near-horizontal, natural swimming posture in an ultra-compact micro-bait form.

When to throw it

Built for day-game seabass in tough, high-pressure fields where fish are keyed onto micro baitfish, it suits brackish lakes, rivers, estuaries and canals.

How to work it

A simple straight retrieve is the basic technique, and its low tendency to tangle on the hooks also makes it suited to lift-and-fall presentations.

The setup it likes

A light seabass spinning rod around 7.5-8.5ft with a 2500-3000 reel, PE0.6-1.0 braid and a 10-14lb fluorocarbon leader suits this micro vibration bait, with enough sensitivity in the tip to feel the vibration and detect subtle takes.
