The D-Zone 3/8oz Tandem Willow Leaf carries Morizo Shimizu's tournament-proven construction: hammered blades designed and thickness-tuned individually per size for a fast pick-up and smooth slow-roll, a specially curved light-wire arm that transmits blade vibration through to the head while its tip stops short of the hook point for a good hook-up rate, beads that lock the front blade against unwanted sliding for a stable retrieve and clean casting trajectory, and every split ring soldered shut so a blade can never be lost. The low-centre-of-gravity head vents water through gilled grooves to help the bait hold its running depth.

This Tandem Willow Leaf setup pairs a slightly slimmer Indiana blade up front with a willow leaf blade behind — the Indiana blade produces strong vibration without spinning too wide, while the willow leaf blade adds tight thump and standout flash, making it a balanced all-rounder suited to any field or condition. The 3/8oz size runs a front #1 and rear #1 blade combination, and Evergreen recommend a Medium-Light to Medium 6'0"–6'6" baitcasting rod with 8–16lb fluorocarbon or 10–20lb nylon line.
