Evergreen Bubble Tornado 3/8oz

The Bubble Tornado is a buzzbait designed by Morizoh Shimizu, built to out-fish other buzzbaits in head-to-head tournament situations. Its counter-rotating front and rear propellers track dead straight on the retrieve, while a spring-loaded contact point between the blades produces a dual sound signature — a metallic clack and a rattling chatter — that lifts the lure's calling power and bite-triggering ability beyond a typical buzzbait.

An upper-arm and head design keeps the bait clear of the weeds and debris that usually plague buzzbait fishing, while the double-prop set-up helps it rise and plane quickly. Hook angle and power-angle geometry were engineered to solve the poor hook-up ratio buzzbaits are known for. This 3/8oz size suits a medium-light to medium-heavy 6'0"–7'0" baitcasting outfit spooled with 12–16lb fluorocarbon or 12–20lb nylon line.
