Information

The swimming action

A ring-shaped, ribbed body grips water for a strong presence, while a curly tail adds action and wide-range appeal during sinker-driven falls and lifts rather than relying on a straight swimming retrieve. Because the action is generated by the rig and retrieve rather than a built-in swimming motion, results depend heavily on matching sinker weight to the current and depth being fished.

When to throw it

Suited to Texas rig, heavy down-shot, and jika rig presentations around rock, reef and structure, it targets rockfish and similar structure-oriented species that respond to a bait worked slowly along the bottom. It's a solid choice on rock, reef and mixed-bottom marks year-round, and particularly useful when a heavier presentation is needed to hold bottom in current that would sweep a lighter plastic away.

How to work it

Work it with a slow lift-and-fall along bottom structure, letting the ribbed body and curly tail create action on both the drop and the lift rather than fishing it on a continuous retrieve. Vary the length and speed of the lift to find what triggers fish on the day, since both a sharp lift and a slow drag can draw strikes depending on how active fish are.

The setup it likes

A light-to-medium rockfish spinning rod, a 2000-2500 reel, PE0.6-1 braid and a 6-10 lb fluorocarbon leader suit this 3.6in plastic on a Texas rig or downshot weight. Carry a range of Texas rig and downshot weights, since matching weight to bottom type and current has more effect on results than any change in lift-and-fall cadence.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
